ここから船が旅立っていった
青く澄み渡った空と輝く朝日の中に
見たこともないほど美しい光景だった
何年もの間、夜に日をついで
語り部たちは語り続けた
船に乗り組む二十人の勇敢な人々のことを
乳白の海を渡り、数え切れないほど孤独な夜を過ごした彼ら
振り返ることなく、怖れも涙もなく
聞こえるかい？ 君は遠い年月の彼方に行ってしまったけれど
僕が君を呼ぶ声は、聞こえないのかい？
砂の上に、君への手紙を書いた
僕たちの孫なら知っているこの国で
君の手を取る日のために
39年、船が青い世界から戻ってきた
志願者たちはその日、故郷へ帰りついたのだ
彼らの知らせは喜ばしいものだった
生まれたばかりの新しい世界
だが、彼らの心は重く沈んでいた
地球は老いて衰えた
だから新たな故郷に旅立とうとしている
